Xmas in Orange County
Back in SoCal at last!!My adventure in Argentina was a blast, especially the last 2 days in Buenos Aires, which consisted in me eating, walking, eating, and walking some more. I managed to pick up some local items of note:
1) Mate
2) Mate cup and straw
3) Six bottles of delicious wine
I am happy.
After much deliberation and a quickly fading laptop, I also purchased a new and improved laptop that is TINY! This combined with a couple of other items and I am good to go for my China trip. The list includes:
1) Little Laptop - CHECK
2) Tiny digital camera - CHECK (Thanks Mom and Dad! Apparently they got sick of me not being able to send them pictures. I still haven't developed my disposable camera from the Argentina trip!)
3) Rolling carry-on - STILL NEED TO BUY. I am thinking of either a 22 inch or 24 inch...I want to travel as light as possible but still have something to lug extra socks, undies, extra shoes and misc. crap
4) Travel Shoes - ALWAYS LOOKING
So now I am in the planning stage.
As for x-mas, this year has been pretty mellow. Since my grandparents both died this autumn, the family didn't really have any plans, so x-mas was pretty chill. I'm not sure when I will have my annual "get drunk with dad" night, although it could be ANY night quite frankly! Maybe tonight?
