Buenos Aires 6 - Internet Problem Solved
OK, it says something about Buenos Aires when the happy hour runs from 6pm to 10pm!I have merged my two favorite things in the world...internet cafe and booze. This bar has free WIFI access as well as happy hour! Its the best thing in the world. Also the fact that the 5 peso beers are in giant steins (somebody ask Claire to remind me what they call the giant steins at Hallo Berlin!)
So I'm working on creative writing now. I am trying to figure out a story idea, but this is tough work! I don't know if I will come up with anything at all. You know how you can sometimes tell that you have written something good? Like it has that certain "it" that just feels right? I am having a hard time with that.
P.S. If I get into any MBA programs my essays are going up on this blog for immediate criticism! Right now I have 3 out of 5 interviews...the last two might now materialize tho...fingers crossed.
Also the current bid/ask in Argentina for my age is 19/24...its good to be half asian!
Speaking of, there is a Japanese guy staying in the same house as I am, and he speaks barely any spanish and even less English! Suffice to say I have been busting out a fair amount of Japanese....BAD Japanese! Akiyama Sensei would be rolling in her Hello Kitty-clad, Totoro-inspired grave, if she were dead. I wonder if she and Claire met if they would implode. Terence Chang knows what I'm talkin about mmmkay!!
OK, I'm sensing that my two giant steins of beer are starting to intoxicate me! Wish me luck on my Wharton interview this Thursday. If I don't rock this interview then I suck!
