Buenos Aires Part 2: Doh!
I had a whole first blog written out about my trip, but I can´t find the USB port on this computer! Thanks internet cafe! So I will have to post Buenos Aires Part 1 later.The good news: My new favorite gelateria has free WIFI, and since I´m both a WIFI whore and now a gelato whore, I will be hitting that on occasion over the next two weeks.
So I realize now that I was totally kidding myself regarding my reasons for coming to Argentina. I told myself it was because I hadn´t been able to explore outside of BA the last time I was here, that the landscape is beautiful, that the summer will be nice, that I like the culture, blah blah blah. I realize now that was all crap. There are three real reasons I came here:
1. Gelato
2. Wine
3. Meat
Everything else is just gravy to those. Also the people here are beautiful, and just like I was the shortest person in the Netherlands (and at Maartje´s Dutch party in Hong Kong) I am officially the fattest person in Buenos Aires. Apparently I am also the only non-mullet sporting person here, but I already addressed the mullet issue in part 1.
Oh, if any of you know Jess Polansky you must ask her about her halloween. I just got an awesome email from her.
